Information Obtained From Visitors to NFC's Website

If the visitor logs on to NFC’s WebProducts™ System or submits an online application, NFC will collect and store only the following information concerning the visitor:  the fully qualified host name from which the visitor accesses the Internet, e.g., HOSTNAME.AOL.COM, if the visitor connects from an America Online account, or HOSTNAME.PRINCETON.EDU, if the visitor connects from Princeton University's domain, etc.; the date and time the visitor accesses the System or submits the application; the Internet address of the computer from which the visitor accesses the System or submits the application; the user name and password used; and session ID number of the visitor’s connection to our System.  For security purposes, NFC uses a cookie to help us determine the number of attempts made to log in to our system.  In addition, any information submitted as part of the application or other forms filled out by the visitor. 

NFC uses the information it collects from a visitor for network security purposes and to assess the usage of its Website to determine the areas of its Website that are most frequently visited.  This information is used to assist NFC in protecting its Website and network and in making the site more useful to its visitors.
